From our roots to your skin
My interest in edible and medicinal plants began years ago, a knowledge passed down from my Nan and my Dad. I've spent countless hours researching the benefits of local flora, focusing on native plants but also embracing naturalized and invasive species—foraging not only benefits our products but also helps native plants thrive.
Inspired by family, crafted with care
My biggest inspiration comes from my daughters, who started their own skincare brand to help my granddaughter with eczema. Their dedication, coupled with my own realization at 47 that store-bought products were no longer working for me, propelled me to explore what plants from our land could offer. My skin thrives on these gentler, plant-based ingredients, and I decided to share this option with you.

What makes Willow & Violet Apothecary truly special? Each product is made in small batches, by hand, using plants foraged from the clean, wooded hills and meadows of our property. Tucked away in a little hollow in Doddridge County, West Virginia, our land provides the pure essence for every item we create.
